The Marching Pride at Pitman High School is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program involving over 100 students actively engaged in three concert bands, jazz ensemble, drumline, and color guard. Several students from the Pitman High Band program have been selected for All-State and County Honor Band. They have performed in prestigious venues like Washington, D.C., Carnegie Hall, and the John F. Kennedy National Center for the Performing Arts, and have won countless awards in local competitions and band reviews.

The Pitman High Band Booster is dedicated to ensuring a quality education for our students through the support of the Pitman High Marching Pride Band program.
We support the PHS Band program through:

The Pitman High School Band and Color Guard Boosters is an organization dedicated to supporting the Marching Pride Band and Color Guard programs. The mission of our Booster Club is to promote the talent in each of our students and to continually support the band and color guard programs at various marching and concert events as well as with fundraising activities. We organize fundraisers to pay for band supplies, entry fees, some transportation costs to competitions, water and refreshments for the students, equipment, uniforms (upkeep and new purchases), instrument repairs, music, flags, coaches, and other band & guard needs as identified by the band director.
EVERYONE is welcome to join! Your annual membership dues go directly to support our band and guard program!
With ever increasing budget cuts to the arts & music programs, we need your support to improve our music programs today, and plan for healthy music programs for the future! By becoming a Booster Club Member, you help us do that!
DO I HAVE TO BE A BAND PARENT TO JOIN? The answer is NO! We count on the financial support from our Booster Club Members through their annual dues! These annual dues alone are a great "fundraiser" for the band. Parents, extended family, friends, neighbors, community members and our dedicated Alumni are all invited to become a part of the booster membership!
DO I HAVE TO GO TO MEETINGS? The Answer is NO, though as a Booster Club Member, you have the privilege of making motions and voting at our quarterly General meetings in August, November, February and April, and should you choose, you may run for election and hold office.
DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER? The Answer is NO, but you may find that with the wide array of volunteer opportunities that the Booster Club makes available, there could be something that fits perfect with your schedule and your personality! Pulling our Band trailer to an event, passing out water bottles at a football game, polishing shoes at a band review, stuffing envelopes or working on our website... we have hundreds of opportunities you can choose from, including choosing nothing at all. If you are a parent, you may feel more comfortable volunteering than say a distant relative or community member. Remember, your membership dues alone help the Boosters to reach their financial goals, volunteering is considered icing on the cake!
- $15 Individual Membership includes membership card for one person which entitles holder to discount at all Pitman Band hosted concerts, voting rights at general member meetings and a band swag gift.
- $25 Family Membership includes family membership card listing up to 4 family members and entitles all 4 to discounts at all Pitman Band hosted concerts, voting rights at general meetings and band swag gifts!
- $10 Alumni Membership includes the same benefits as the Individual membership, but is discounted and reserved only for Pitman Band Alumni and their Parents! Membership includes a band swag gift.
